Rate card № 1, plumbing
The price, before the van starts.

How a plumbing price is built
nothing hidden in it
1
Labour, by the job
Not by the hour. A blocked drain costs the same whether it takes us forty minutes or two hours.
2
Parts, at shop price
The receipt is stapled to your invoice. We earn on our work, not on a markup you cannot check.
3
Nothing else
No call-out fee in our area, no “admin costs”, no weekend multiplier invented on the doorstep.
If we open the wall and find something worse, we stop, show you, and re-quote before touching anything. You can always say no, the initial price still stands for the initial job.

Emergency leak repair
Burst pipe, dripping ceiling or flooded floor, we locate the leak and stop it, day or night.
Blocked drain clearing
Sink, shower, toilet or main drain, cleared mechanically, without damaging your pipes.
Water heater installation
Replacement or first installation, sized for the number of people actually living in the home.
Bathroom renovation
From the plans to the last seal, plumbing, tiling and fittings, with one person accountable.
Boiler servicing
The annual service that is legally required, and that catches the breakdown before winter.
Tap and fitting replacement
A dripping tap wastes up to 120 litres a day. Replaced in under an hour.
Why we can print our prices
Because after thousands of jobs, we know what each one takes. The plumbers who cannot tell you a price have not done the work often enough, or are waiting to see your flat before deciding what you can afford.
- Ten-year insurance on installations
- Two-year workmanship guarantee
- Itemised invoice, parts receipts attached

Invoices we are told about
"Boiler died on the coldest weekend of the year with a baby in the house. Out on the Sunday, part fitted Monday morning, and the invoice was exactly the figure quoted on the phone."
"Ceiling dripping into the kitchen at half past ten at night. Someone picked up, gave me a price, and was outside in forty minutes. The leak was in the flat above and he wrote it all down for the insurance."
"Third plumber I called about the same blocked drain. The first two poured something down it. This one put a camera in, found a root in the pipe, and it has not come back since."
